MIE17 Case Study

Client:

MIE is the biggest marketing insights event of the Netherlands and presents the most prominent trends in research, big data, customer journey and social & digital marketing. The event is organized by the MOA, Market Research Association of the Netherlands. Every year, more the 2500 marketers, professionals, web analysts and data management experts network and share their knowledge with each other.

Challenge:

MOA wanted to develop an informative, real-time and interactive mobile application that the visitors could use before and during the event. The main purpose of the organization was to improve the customer satisfaction through providing better customer journey.

Solution:

We built a data-driven event app for the MIE, in which beside the added value on the app user, we also focused on supporting the organization through providing continuous real-time insights into the experience of the visitors and other event processes. User-friendly Content Management System, crowd- and interest indicators and customer satisfaction research based on the real-time presence of the visitors per lecture supported the organization to manage the event perfectly. Interesting information were shown real-time to the visitors on our customized dash- and billboards. Moreover, we built a connection between the ticket- and registration system and our app in order to optimize data processes and detect frauds in the assessments. Integrated real-time functionalities, e.g. network possibilities, real-time push notifications, reminders, dynamic floor map and program information, participant lists, social media and Google Maps integration, ensured user-friendliness of the app and better customer experience.
